The mission of the NEL/CPS Construction and Career Academy, a unique innovative collaborative partnership between the Cranston Public Schools and the New England Laborers',
is to provide students in grades 9-12 with a solid academic foundation in an authentic learning environment in order to prepare students interested in exploring various career options to include  construction trades and environmental sciences and to become 
productive, responsible citizens of the global society.
