Upon enrollment, our guidance counselors will meet with students and their parents/guardians to discuss the most appropriate course of study. Our curriculum offers two pathways of study, Construction Craft Technology and World of Work Exploration. Our instructional approach is Problem-Based Learning (PBL), which requires the student to solve “real-life” problems. This unique and challenging approach provides higher order thinking skills and hands-on learning to ALL students.
All students, regardless of program selection, will need to successfully complete English, Math, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education/Health, Electives, Senior Portfolio, and mandated state testing in accordance with the RI Department of Education Graduation Requirements. In addition, Financial Literacy is embedded throughout the curriculum.
Our faculty are all Rhode Island certified teachers and are members of the Cranston Teachers Alliance Local 1704. Our certified construction instructors with over 40 years combined experience are members of Local 271.
